Our history: Austine Studios
Sisters Cara Wood-Ginder and Erika Wood are artists working in the original art medium invented by their mother Austine Wood-Comarow.
She named the medium “Polage Art” from POLarized CollAGE art.
Cara and Erika both worked with Austine for many years as Austine Studios. Since her passing in 2020, they have carried on working in this original, exclusive and eye-catching medium.
ANALOG FUTURISM
Polage art is made with analog futurist materials like optical filters, birefringent films and fine lenses.
Polage Art colors are made purely out of light, its hues plucked from the visible light spectrum.
